We know it’s hard when the power goes out. We work hard to make sure that doesn’t happen, but when it does you can report your outage and stay up-to-date on service restoration.
Report an Outage
Call Sellwood Power District any time day or night to report an outage. Emergency calls will be forwarded to an outage duty representative, who will ask questions about your location and situation and then dispatch a line crew to fix the problem. It is helpful to keep “grid plate” numbers handy so you can quickly provide that information if needed. Each pole has a grid plate with numbers and letters describing its exact location. The grid plate numbers helpline crews to quickly find the precise location of the problem. The meter number, account number, account name, and address are also helpful.
